Forever just started throwing errors about forever

What version were you running on previously? Forever configuration could have been borked. Try forever stopall && rm -rf /tmp/forever

Thanks! That appeared to fix it. I thought about deleting all the tmp files
but figured because it threw an error, I better ask the formal question
first as it could have been anything I guess.

This was improved in 1c16e81 and should now be fully resolved.
