I find the root cause of the GLib.GException.
After get a System.Net.WebException acessing for 1º time to the album, the Cache folder contains a .jpg file with 0 bytes. That cause the GLib.GException each time that the program is launched.
This is consistent with errors like
#36 (The first time I launched it, it started but then crashed anyway)
#19 (The app will then crash immediately when trying to start it again)
I have updated the subject of the bug.
Unfortunately, certificates still failing on Debian 8 Jessie so in can fix the issue the cause the 0 bits file.
