I think the kotlin-file-mirrors-java-file method is better for now, want to send a PR for this simple file and see how it looks?

We also could go through the effort of defining a common interface for the Kotlin and Java snippets to ensure that they stay in sync. What do you think about that?

Ah, a common interface makes sense.
So basically a java/kotlin interface that will be implemented by both the Java and the Kotlin files, right?

Ok, I can go ahead and add the implementations. If I get stuck somewhere, will ask for help from you, will that work? Also I made the changes suggested in the PR #6 as well, could you merge it if that's good to go? Best!
