Again, as we discussed on CF, the file size difference is going to be almost negligible for this change. Maybe 1 or 2 lines to remove. In fact, changing https://github.com/filamentgroup/Ajax-Include-Pattern/blob/master/src/ajaxInclude.js#L66 to .not( "[" + AI.boundAttr + "]").not("[" + AI.interactionAttr + "]" ) might be sufficient to make this work.
