As a "user" you aren't meant to generate the models. They are already generated. That rake task is meant for people who intend to "develop" the library/gem.

Regarding your suggestion -- sounds reasonable.

I see. So the "Getting Started" section in your readme is intended for people who want to develop with this software. Thanks for the clarification.

Well, we really expect people to use the fhir_client directly rather than the models. Maybe that was a bad assumption. This is why the fhir_client README has a lot more examples.
