Installing offline, from file system — instead of HTTP fetching things via opm? about lua-resty-acme

Now I might have found the answer?:

opm currently only supports pure Lua libraries but we will add support for Lua libraries in pure C or with some C components very soon

Meaning, opm downloads just Lua code, as of now — it won't compile any C code, or do any build steps as part of the installation. So I suppose if I just copy the pure Lua files in the same way as opm would have done, all is fine. (?)

(In Nodejs, some packages start compiling C code via node-gyp when they get installed. But not so with opm then, at least not now.)

Correct, opm only download lua files. Do make sure in the image, the path that you manually copy those files in, is in the lua_package_path https://github.com/openresty/lua-nginx-module#lua_package_path. KajMagnus <[email protected]>于2021年1月17日 周日下午11:52写道：
