Thanks for your kind words.
It is actually quite easy to fix this: Just don't pass an ipa file with your Deliverfile and deliver will stop trying to fetch the latest version from iTC.

If you want to upload beta builds, use beta_ipa instead of ipa, more information in the Readme section of Testflight

Let me know if that solves your problem. I might have to update the error message to explain that.

Did I understand that correctly, the app was already created on iTunesConnect, but it's not yet available in the AppStore?

Hi @KrauseFx! Thanks for your prompt response. You understood it alright, and simply skipping ipa allowed me to upload the metadata.

If you want, you can try running the latest version by downloading/cloning this repo and running sudo rake install.
