Match receives `Access Forbidden` response about fastlane

@binovsky I worked around with using an App Store Connect API key. The match command has an --api_key_path option you can use for authentication. Keys can be created in App Store Connect on the 'Users and Access > Keys' page and instructions on building the key file can be found here https://docs.fastlane.tools/app-store-connect-api/#using-fastlane-api-key-json-file

I just had this issue as well. Apparently my Apple ID was blocked, probably due to connections made on my CI server.

Fixed this through the xcode -> accounts menu by resetting my password and logging in again on my environment.

Bump... seem to be getting this after email address was 'claimed' and now use a SSO solution. Any workarounds or ways to deal with match authentication problems?

Hi, I am having the same issue ,

Cloning remote git repo...
[12:21:41]: If cloning the repo takes too long, you can use the clone_branch_directly option in match.

[12:21:45]: This passphrase is specific per repository and will be stored in your local keychain
[12:21:45]: Make sure to remember the password, as you'll need it when you run match on a different machine

[12:22:25]: 🔓 Successfully decrypted certificates repo

Available session is not valid any more. Continuing with normal login.

The Fastlane error message brought me to this link.

I happened to encounter it today. Going to AppStoreConnect, I tried logging in and realize that my account was locked. I clicked "Unlock Account", followed the steps, and succeeded unlocking it.

FYI. This "Access Forbidden" issue is gone but there's an issue that may be related:

After unlocking the account, the uploading process (Fastlane using atool) showed this message:

Please sign in with an app-specific password. You can create one at appleid.apple.com

I logged into the appleid website to realize that the previous app-specific password disappeared, so I had to create a new one.

Same issue yesterday, my account was locked. Even after reset my app-specific password I have a forbidden access.

Apple had some issues yesterday with the appstore connect servers. Multiple things were having issues.

Seems to me that everything is back to normal.

If your environment is not yet working: open xcode and try to redownload your profiles and clean your build environments.

So did you succeed? Is this related to account permissions? I succeeded on an Admin account without api-key, but failed when I had an account with developer privileges only.
