Uninstalling and reinstalling the app appears to have resolved the issue.

This is most likely caused by the local license file being corrupt.
I am closing the issue since it is (thus far) the only reported occurence.

Same issue here.
Corrupt or missing licence file may cause the isse since it stopped working after migrating my local user profile to a domain user profile. So it might be an idea to look into the issue why FancyWM can't get the licence state from the Microsoft Store...

Uninstalling and installing did not solve the problem.

Clicking on "Buy Now" Button and logging in to my Microsoft Account worked. Message said I already own this app. Now the License Status in Fancy WM says "Licensed"

+1 on this, it took quite some time to find this issue since it's closed. Maybe it could be open to make it easier to search for until a fix is in place?

For me reauthenticating to the microsoft store did nothing, but uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have resolved the issue for now.
