Remote: Connection status about nuclide

A connection status somewhere is a good idea, and I like the mock. I'm afraid the status bar is getting cramped though, and I wonder if it could live elsewhere. It'd be nice to have it near the file tree so there's always a visual cue you are editing remote files. Maybe we could add a status bar above the file tree?

I built a simple working version of this just for fun: https://github.com/etcinit/nuclide/tree/remote-status. It still needs a lot of work though.
A status indicator on the project tree also sounds like a cool idea. It would probably have to be an icon since the green/yellow colors on the tree are already being used for git status.
