In this config sets and deletes are routed via AllSyncRoute. It sends a request to all servers in the pool and returns the worst reply, i.e. an error if some occurred. So, if some server is down, mcrouter will return "SERVER_ERROR", because it can not set a value to this server. Your get requests will still work - LatestRoute will failover a request silently.
If you don't want to get any errors on failed sets, use AllAsyncRoute instead of AllSyncRoute. It will return "NOT_STORED" immediately without even waiting for replies from servers.
