So I do see that the example config would be invalid json. Try wrapping every property into double quotes, and also converting the single quoted string values to double quotes. Next, all values using "translate" within errorMessage key are invalid too. Just put the string value directly next to the key (e.g. "full_name": "Full name is required",).

EDIT: I think the example config was written in a .js file, not in a .json file. Which is compatible with the config module as well. You could try that :)
