Are you still having this problem? Were you logging into ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS? I'll take a look at ways to better handle failed logins and convey that to the user.

I was trying to log into an AGOL account. I checked back later in the day and it worked like a charm. For some reason the previous 24 hours it wasn't working. I tried it multiple times on different machines, but did finally work. Thanks for the response.

OK that makes sense. There was an issue that popped up in that timeframe where traffic to https://arcgis.com was failing. I will update the app, but in the meantime you can use the login URL https://www.arcgis.com/ for better reliability.
