I have added a preference for switching between Windows and Gnome styled button ordering in rev62. Could you check if that works for you?

Attaching .dll file if in the case you don't have pidgin development environment set.

PS: Maybe 1 another thing to consider. I'm not sure if many people would use this(so just to think about), but maybe add some per contact option to always lock conversation for this contact. Or add option with list of contacts and set checkbox for Auto/Always lock option.

Agreed that, this button ordering may not be useful feature for all users but few great souls who are accustomed to default ordering might find it useful.

Per contact always lock feature sounds great addition to the plugin, indeed! I am busy for a month or two but when I get time I'll add this feature.
