Many thanks for the feedback on this, and sorry for the late reply! I am currently writing my PhD thesis and this is taking pretty much all my time.

I knew this bug existed but was not able to reproduce it. This definitely helps a lot! I will make sure to get it fixed for the next update!

I have corrected the bug and the problem does not seem to arise in any of my tests. The changes will roll out on the next SCpubr's update!

You can access the changes earlier downloading it directly from Github, but please keep in mind that you are then downloading a development build of the package and it might be prone to more bugs.
