I was hoping this might spark some ideas for new additions to the list. There is no section for tools regarding keeping track of findings and results

I'm not sure that's true. Metasploit keeps records and so does OpenVAS, for example. I would not be opposed to adding a section for vuln recording but it would need to be specialized for pentests (not merely a note-taking software) and clearly distinct from the existing tools.
