Hi, thanks for writing this up! What's your opinion on where it belongs?

I think --proxy overall isn't described sufficiently and I want to add it in. I also remember being confused by it.

Certainly! I think a topic in advanced use walking through of how to use generated proxies would suffice. An entire page on proxying would seems warranted.

There is a bit on the -proxy flag at the end of developer tools section. That should be merged into the new content

Bit confused about what the proxy does. Is the only use case to be able to fetch('/data.json') in the app, and having that hit 127.0.0.0:4000/data.json?

In that case, why not just fetch(${config.host}/data.json) and set the config in config/environment.js?
