Some URL's use path from wrong store view about magento2-regenerate-catalog-urls

The first problem was resolved by the update. The module that you suggested for the duplicate URLs has given us some results. We will resolve these duplication's and then test again.

I will give you an update once we now more.

Do you have additional info how it set up so I can try to replicate?

We have multiple websites and each website has one store and 1 store view. Our default store is in Dutch and we have stores in German, French, English and Spanish.

The issue is that for some products use the path from one of the store views. So the product will have a language specific path in each store view but still the path from one of the store views will be used for all stores. However this is not always the case and in most cases it will be generated correctly.

I suspect this has to do with the URL paths, especially if this is a Magento install that has been upgraded from 2.1 upwards. See https://github.com/elgentos/magento2-regenerate-catalog-urls#whats-the-difference-between-url_key-and-url_path

Could you check whether that is the case?

We have run the query to remove the url_path parameters. We are now running into another issue:
"Duplicated url for store ID 1, product $ID ($SKU) - URL key for specified store already exists"

We have check the database but there is no entry there. Also now the regeneration only runs for store 1 even when we specify another store (tried with -s and --store).

Are you sure you're running the latest version? There have been some fixes concerning this.

Concerning the duplicated URL warning; could you install https://github.com/baldwin-agency/magento2-module-url-data-integrity-checker/ and see what that extension tells you?
