Are you sure your netlify site id is correct? I had this error when I forgot to manually create a site at Netlify, so the netlify site id didn't exist yet.

@chaowise - we were previously using a method to deploy to Netlify which required zipping up the whole exported site and sending that, which was prone to errors due to network connection or maximum filesizes.

V7 is now ready for testing and has a rewritten Netlify addon that works a lot better, including only needing to deploy files with changes since last deploy.
