I looked through the code and found no obvious thread problems. I also added a
test that will execute multiple instances of the plugin at the same time and
have found no problems.
So I think that it is threadsafe...

Could you please checkout the source and test it locally with
mvn com.google.code.sortpom:maven-sortpom-plugin:1.2.1-SNAPSHOT:sort
on your multimodule project? Make some rearrangements to the individual pom
files first, so that the plugin has something to work with.

/Björn

It all runs nicely on our multi module projects with 1.2.1-SNAPSHOT.

Tested it by unsorting several POMs that are also in our SVN repo, ran a
parallel build and checked the modified files against the SVN copy.

There is also a @threadSafe checklist at the bottom of this page:

Version 1.2.1 has been released to Central.
I followed the list you provided and updated some the frameworks the plugin
uses.

Please download the new official version from Central and test it against your
multimodule project. The issue can then be set to verified.

/Björn

Thanks! Tested 1.2.1 with sorting our 200 POMs by changing the sort order
several times and then back to the original. No problems whatsoever. And the
big warning is also gone now. :-)
