Sorry I just found that it is not compatible with master branch of paho.mqtt.c
I will try with development branch.

Yes, the latest C++ library needs to be built against the 'develop' branch of the Paho C library, as noted at the top of the README.
It is probably best to be working with the 'develop' branch of the C++ library at this point as well, since it contains a few bug fixes.
Both libraries are due to be released in the next few weeks, from the code currently in the develop branches.
