I know a few people on our team have had a great time looking through the dot files this afternoon already 😉

For complete beginners, we feel it's useful to go through the step by step (we advocate that new developers learn the 'vanilla' way of doing the basics) as although painful, this:

• Often helps them understand what is happening 'under the hood'
• Allows them to teach other beginners without needing to resort to installing things on others' computers

Having said that, these are extremely useful and I think it would be great fun to also develop our own! This is definitely a tip to include in our non-beginners repo (which we are in the process of setting up), thanks again (for this and all the contributions you've made so far!) 😊 👍
