I think I can implement Desk Bands in 2.1, probably aiming to release in one or two weeks, thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the update. I have a few different versions of Windows running locally to test with (7 Home+Pro, 8.1, Server 2012).

@waynebloss Hi Wayne - the bands are implemented now, but I've got two bugs outstanding:
I'm still working on these but feel free to download the latest code and see the example WebSearchDeskBand sample project.
