According to MySQL documents, TIMESTAMP type stores date/time as UTC and it automatically converts value to target time zone for retrieval.
My server returns 'Asia/Tokyo' date/time, and Magmi put it in the database as is. When MySQL returns value of 'updated_at', it will be converted for Asia/Tokyo again! It makes all the products show up as if updated in the future in Magento back-end.
Thanks for epicwhale, removing 'conditional if' solved this problem.
