It over load the system about hollywood

I don't know. Besides, it would be nice to be able to control which is started.

I am getting issues.

• Speedometer widget does not work on Archlinux.
• The command with argument does not work from another console. (Xfce)

If I run hollywood without arguments.

• This overload the CPU.
• After a minute it crash and the CPU continues to be overloaded for a few seconds.

Note that I used a virtual machine.

It overloads if used over ssh for sure, any way to throttle the update rate?

Brings my system to its knees as well. Here's a video showing the problem:

As you can see it uses 100% of the cpu while it's running. Hitting ctrl+c twice is the only way to kill it. If you close the terminal it keeps going in the background.

Can you please try running hollywood with the "nice" command? Try running "nice -n 19 hollywood". Does this help?
