Will look into it. I did have an open Issue #4 because there is a difference between reading from a ring buffer which allows a wraparound infinite list and reading from a ring buffer that only allows read once. It's a bit of a muddle and I'm not sure if read-once should be allowed, or whether there should be two different kinds of ring buffers.

missing_ets_data is actually a problem. I bumped the read retry to 30 from 3 internal to the library. The missing data actually skips a hole which gets filled later, but there is no mechanism to read it later even though the error returns the missing slot index. I'm unsure if the internals of the library should wait forever for the hole. Probably missing_ets_data will go away as a return value.
