xsi:type are not yet properly generated...
In my case:
xsi:type="core:Provider"
should be:
xsi:type="org.cloudml.core:Provider"
from kevoree-modeling-framework.
Here is an example that should work, with proper xsi:type in the providers reference to specify the actual type of the element to instantiate. Note that EMF-XMI omit this information when the type is obvious (no polymorphism), but it seems OK to specify it systematically.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<org.cloudml.core:DeploymentModel xmlns:org.cloudml.core="http://cloudml.org/core" xmlns:xsi="http://wwww.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmi:version="2.0" xmlns:xmi="http://www.omg.org/XMI" name="test">
<providers xsi:type="org.cloudml.core:Provider" name="aws-ec2" credentials="./credentials">
</providers>
</org.cloudml.core:DeploymentModel>
