Use a GlowPadView for turning off alarms about boilr

Do you mean the on/off button? I don't think I've had this problem. And there's some people complaining about unlocked phones while inside pockets using GlowPadView.

Nope, I mean the buttons in the activity which appears when an alarm fires. That activity unlocks the screen and is immediately displayed.

Ok, now I see. Great observation dllud. But I see an underlying problem here. So the app unlocks the phone. How are we protecting the phone from unauthorized users? Shouldn't the user be able to turn off alarm without unlocking phone like a music player?

The app unlocks the phone just to show its notification activity. As soon as any button (Turn off or Keep monitoring) on that activity is pressed the user faces the default Android screen lock and has to enter the PIN or pattern to access further functionality. We are using the default Android behaviour, they know what they are doing 😌.

Sorry, my bad! the only thing I have to add to this is that I didn't have the problem of accidentally turning off an alarm. it's up to you guys.
