Ok now I got what you mean. If you only have this one action, then use

.ForAction((x, y) => x.FilterItems(0, 0, string.Empty))

I usually use T4MVC, that's why I always have an overload with no parameters.

Something like

.ForAction((x, y) => x.FilterItems(), new [] { typeof(int), typeof(int), typeof(string) })

should be sufficient.

@Dresel so I need to specify another action like this one, that doesn't use parameters?

[Route("items/filter")]
public ActionResult FilterItems()
{
}

otherwise I get a compiler error.
