What is your tdpt.ini configuration for Transmission?

What is the output of netstat -tunlp | grep transmission

P.S: Checked the issue with transmissionrpc issue tracker, there is no general consensus on how to solve the issue, it has something to do with max active torrents it seems.

P.S P.S: This might be an issue on my end my Transmission is version 2.94 and in general my transmissionrpc is not creating a Client object.

Try downgrading to 2.92 for instance. Also are you sure your transmission is listening on this port? Do you have authentication enabled?

My bad, I didn't have localhost in the set of allowed IPs to connect I only had my Home Server allowed.
