Well I followed all the steps on the website And since I had map 16 I put 16 maps in my world on the website(I only wanted 1 custom map) then I replaced map 16 with the website made map which was under my saves folder world’s data folder. Then I switched to minecraft but nothing happened

Well like I said I followed all the steps on the website . I first made a map in my minecraft world by right clicking the empty map and I was in Creative mode .And since I had map 16 I put 16 maps in my world on the website(I only wanted 1 custom map) then I replaced map 16 with the website made map which was under my saves folder world’s data folder. The image I selected to be made into a map was a png file. Then I switched to minecraft but nothing happened I expected there to be a picture but there was no picture.I tried putting it on a frame but there still was no picture.

Hi, I'm having the same issue. My server is on version 1.14.4. I've followed the steps on the website, and I've placed the map data files in the folder /world/data where all the other map data files are. My map is showing terrain and not the image, whether or not I restart the server.

I'm attaching the map file generated by your tool (inside of a .zip so github allows it). Thanks

EDIT: False alarm, I was using the wrong /give command to give myself the item... it was generating a new map instead of referencing the #205 file x_x

The map should be locked to avoid map updating. If a unlocked map is holded in a player's hand its content will automatically update to the current terrain. So lock the map or set its dimension to a wrong value such as 100 (in Minecraft ,0 means the overworld ,-1 is the nether and 1 is the end,other value refers to a unexist dimension. )
