To any contributors:
Thank you for working on this wonderful app. Just wanted to get that out of the way. It's very convenient.
One very quality of life feature would be making it easier to back up recordings.
whether that would be revealing the location of where it is recorded, or making an option to transfer all recordings to a destination.
Right now, the best thing I can do to back up my recording, is to download
them one by one.
Thank you very much to anyone who can contribute on this issue.

Summary for contributors:
- File location is in a place that is not easily accessible.
- There doesn't seem to be a way to change the default location.
- There doesn't seem to be a way to copy all recordings to another location.
- Backup process may be laborious because it seems that the only way to copy them easily is
downloading them one by one.

There is no plans to add feature where user can change recording directory. Newer versions of Android added restrictions on ability to interact with device file system. There is no simple way how to implement the feature. So all records are stored in app's private dir. Anyway, all record files available for user to download from app's private dir to a public dir.
Considering to add some kind of 'Backup feature' which will allow user to download all records as one.

By the way, a question in relation: I couldn't find here the default location. Where is it?

@Deevad
The app shows this file location at:
Settings > File Browser
For your convenience I've typed the text for the default location, according to the app is at:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.dimowner.audiorecorder/files/Music/records
It seems that the folder is in a place where it cannot be accessed without rooting the phone.

Thanks! I was really curious about it.

Ha, I see. That's why I failed to find it. My workaround was to use the KDE desktop integration app, and use the "share" icon, and share it to my Public folder on my computer. That way I was able to backup and archive my favorites sounds.

Thanks for the workaround @Deevad. I'll try it out.

Unfortunately, the workaround doesn't seem to work for me. Couldn't find the setting to get to a folder that requires root. Thanks for sharing though.

Thank you for commenting on this issue.
I use the F-Droid version of the app, F-Droid doesn't seem to have options to back up data.
I looked in internal\Android\data
, the app doesn't appear to store anything additional there.

I have downloaded from F-Droid , is there a different version on that too? I'll check
