Did you do add the leaflet css reference to the angular.json file in your project?

            "styles": [
              "src/styles.scss", // this line is project dependent, so this can be different in your project
              "node_modules/leaflet/dist/leaflet.css",
              "node_modules/leaflet-draw/dist/leaflet.draw.css"
            ],

I will do an update on the documentation to make the above more clear.
