cannot build 32bit version about devilutionx

You need to clear out your build folder to remove your previous 64bit CMake setup (make clean does not do this as it is a process after CMake), what you are building here appears to be a hybrid of 64 and 32bit and so the compile fails.

You installed the 32bit version of SDL but ran the cmake command for configuring the 64bit build.

Notice this in the log:

CMake Warning at CMakeLists.txt:55 (message):
  Not 32-bit, highly experimental!
