Unfortunately, you need to be able to create public files for the chat example, so local storage can't be used for the chat example. Sorry.

On thing I will likely add in the future is the ability to set feature requirements (i.e. public files required) in the filesystem initialization, so that only storage options that allow those features are shown.

Could it be possible to use my own server for storage instead of Dropbox?
