Hi @BMaxV , interesting side effect! Did you call plt.grid(), before or after setting the style? Could you provide a minimum code example for reproducibility?

Maybe that's obvious, but to make it really explicit, this is all documented in the matplotlib docs, it's just not as simple as dropping the three lines in the code and have it all work like before.
