Hello, I tried replicating this. With Apple's Finder, the file is displayed correctly (as /foo/[bar]) and the logs are the following: nginxwebdav | 192.168.65.1 - user [05/Nov/2023:21:01:05 +0100] "LOCK /foo/%5Bbar%5D HTTP/1.1" 200 384 "-" "WebDAVFS/3.0.0 (03008000) Darwin/23.0.0 (arm64)" nginxwebdav | 192.168.65.1 - user [05/Nov/2023:21:01:05 +0100] "GET /foo/%5Bbar%5D HTTP/1.1" 304 0 "-" "WebDAVFS/3.0.0 (03008000) Darwin/23.0.0 (arm64)" nginxwebdav | 192.168.65.1 - user [05/Nov/2023:21:01:05 +0100] "UNLOCK /foo/%5Bbar%5D HTTP/1.1" 204 0 "-" "WebDAVFS/3.0.0 (03008000) Darwin/23.0.0 (arm64)" %5B and %5D are the percent encoding values for [ and ], which sounds about right. I do not want to blame your client, who knows if I do something wrong somewhere, but could you verify if the issue persists with another WebDAV server? I ask this because I cannot replicate the issue on any of my clients. Happy to look into this otherwise. Thank you!

@dgraziotin Yes, sorry about that. I deleted my comment last week when I realized the obvious conclusion to my case was that the webdav client was at fault and I didn't want to pollute the thread or waste anyone's time. Had I known you had seen it I would have left it up.

I'll set up/find out a different webdav server in the coming days (I hope) to confirm my client's behavior and I'll get back to you.
