Serial port can yield in read or write and in this moment other fiber can start reading or writing to the same serial port. Modbus must protect logic operations (request for example) from interruption.

Header of tcp package (transaction id, protocol id, message size) fills by bytes, but must fills by ushorts

What function codes of the application protocol specification are on your todo list? And how do you prioritize them? (I integrated a C Modbus client stack into an application some years ago and could probably help out a bit.)

Now used full translation to big endian of int, float etc

On the windows platform,
when I need to read 6 registers,
Use serialport sends data directly, only about 30ms.
Instead modbus sends and requires 48ms!
