Are you running on Windows by any chance? Because the FileInfo extension, which comes built-in since PHP 5.3, has to be manually activated in your php.ini on Windows. Try enabling the extension by finding the following line and removing the ; character at the beginning:

;extension=php_fileinfo.dll
