It only happens on iPhone5S simulator. I believe you can easily reproduce it :)

Are you sure about your situation is same as above?

In fact I found some compile error but they're nothing business about data type, if you're building with latest Xcode 6.1.1, maybe you'll see some syntax error, but everything gonna be all right with Xcode 6.1. I'll fix the compile error later.
