Assistant Professor in Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India
Co-founder at Nytilus Inc., Toronto, a computational imaging startup for industrial applications. Raised seed investments from early stage VCs and Canadian industrial grants.
Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada.
B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG).
12+ years of experience in leading academic and industrial projects in the areas of computer vision, computer graphics, and machine learning.
Recipient of Mitacs-INRIA Globalink Research Award and Four-Year Doctoral Fellowship at UBC.
15+ in peer reviewed research papers in conferences and journals (Google Scholar).
Love to travel. 18 countries and counting.
I have also hosted several meetups related to language exchange and artificial intelligence in Canada and Europe.
