Nintendo Switch Controller ZL & ZR Buttons Incorrectly Registered as Z axis. about betterjoy

I tried a real Xbox controller to confirm my suspicions and the ZL/ZR buttons are in fact the Z-axis. It's just that they are analog on the original one, while on the Pro Controller/Joycons they are just buttons. There are no other buttons left to assign on an Xbox controller, I'm afraid.

I had no problems assigning the ZL/ZR to the L/R buttons as shown on the screenshot above.

Thank you for your prompt response. I did not have an issue reassigning the ZL and ZR buttons. The issue was that in Citras, Joystick 0 Axis 2- and 5- are constantly registered as being pressed so if ZL and/or ZR are assigned, bad things happen. I saw this when trying to play Majora's Mask via Citras.

That seems to be a Citra problem with xinput as a whole. According to a reddit thread -https://www.reddit.com/r/Citra/comments/850v4t/zl_and_zr_are_always_being_held_down_in_citra/

The solution seems to be

I had found a fix, If you press and hold the L2/R2 or whatever the equivalent is on Xbox, press the assign button on Citra, then release L2/R2, you will have it working. Little late but I am sure someone will find this useful.

I was trying to use it on PS Remote Remote Play as a DualShock 4.

Everything worked perfectly, but ZR and ZL did not, I tried everything and I couldn't solve it.
