So, for kubeconform, using, e.g.,
-schema-location 'https://raw.githubusercontent.com/datreeio/CRDs-catalog/main/{{ .Group}}/{{.ResourceKind}}_{{.ResourceAPIVersion}}.json'
works great.
I see in the readme that kubeval is "Only supported with the CRD Extractor".

Ah, I see, the inline go templating can work to do it directly. Wasn't sure if that was intended to be used literally.
