Seems to work no problem for me: http://live.datatables.net/hupujic/1/edit . Please link to a test case showing the issue (which will be part of the reason why there was no response in the forums). Going to close this issue until there is a test case available showing a bug. For general support questions, the forum is appropriate, and I'll try to answer your questions there if I can.

Hi Allan,
I can see that you initialized TableTools with 2 buttons (pdf, csv), but in your test's output I can't see those buttons, nor any evidence of a running TableTools instance.
I'm so srry, I checked only in Firefox 30.0. In FF, I can't see TT buttons, but in IE, they are there and working.
Somebody said Firefox is the Internet Explorer of the modern ages. It's time to change my production browser.
Thanks for all,
Peter

Heh - I rather suspect that is a side effect of a change I put in to TableTools on Friday... If Flash is not enabled in the browser, then the Flash buttons won't be shown. Both of the buttons I had in the demo there were flash based. Here is it updated with the print button: http://live.datatables.net/hupujic/2/edit

Hi,
I still can see only the print button, however you initialize with 3 buttons (aButtons: [ 'csv', 'pdf', 'print' ]). Is it still the 'side effect' or a bug, probably in Firefox?
BTW flash IS enabled in my browser . Everything is OK if I use an ID, not a class. If I put (for example) the ID of the first table then DT and TT works well. If I put a common class, I can see but can't use TT.

So in my example, if you update it to use an id, you see all three buttons? But you only see the print button if using the class selector? That sounds a bit odd to me.
It does sound like my Flash detection might not be working quite correctly in Firefox though frustratingly.

Allan,
No, sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough.
If I look at your demo in FF 30.0, I see the print button only whatever I do. As I saw you initialized with 3 buttons (aButtons: [ 'csv', 'pdf', 'print' ]), but I can see the print only. In IE 9.xx everything is OK.
In my page on localhost, if I initialze on a class (given to (e.g.) 5 tables) with 3 buttons (xls, pdf, copy), I see the 3 selected on the first table, and all the 5 buttons (the 3 selected plus print and csv) of TableTools on the other 4 tables. And none of them works. Firebug catches a 404 for the swf file when DataTables looks fo it in its default location: http://localhost/mm/media/swf/... however I clearly set it to
'sSwfPath': "js/jQuery.datatables/extras/TableTools/media/swf/copy_csv_xls_pdf.swf"And it doesn't matter if I use FF or IE.
If I switch to an ID in my production environment (ie.: I replace the class name with an ID and don't change anything else), everything works well on the table with the given ID, so my other settings (eg. the location of the swf file) most be correct.
I hope it helps.
I'll try to make a demo for you but it's not that easy. My page uses zillions of external resources and all the tables and data comes from php/MySQL so it will take some time to make it.
Thanks for your efforts!
P.

Are you using the latest versions of DataTables and TableTools from git? If not, I'd suggest trying that.

Somewhat bizarrely, if would appear that in JSBin in editing mode, Firefox doesn't report Flash as available. However, if you drop the frames it does work as expected: http://live.datatables.net/hupujic/2 .
Checking in the console, Firefox doesn't have the Flash MIME type enabled in the JSBin editing mode. I'm not sure if that is a Firefox or JSBin "feature".
