Yes, I am already working on submitting the templates but I am still looking into how authorship works with the new template package system.

Done. Now you can create paper from ICML/NeurIPS template in WebApp or in command line as follows.

typst init @preview/bloated-neurips

should be

 #import "./logo.typ": LaTeX, LaTeXe, TeX

How to reproduce the issue? I tried to compile bootstrapped from template with typst init and everything works fine.

FYI Import paths work as absolute/relative URLs.
