@eernstg just pointed out to me that @whesse had been intending to implement a durable solution to this issue (see dart-lang/sdk#52903).

Some extra details as it would be nice to share where possible here:
dart.dev and docs.flutter.dev use an image that is created from https://github.com/dart-lang/site-shared/tree/main/cloud_build/firebase-ghcli, then a stage.yaml and deploy.yaml Cloud Build config file.
The missing piece will be the various TeX dependencies, which aren't included in the image we build currently. They could probably be added if needed though :)
