This is a Google clone website developed as part of the CS50 Web Development course. The website is built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and it replicates the Google search engine's functionality, allowing users to search the internet for websites, images, videos, and news articles.
Features
Home page: a landing page with a search bar and links to the image search page and advanced search page.
Search bar: allows users to enter search terms and perform a search.
Search results: displays a list of search results based on the user's search terms.
Pagination: allows users to navigate through multiple pages of search results.
Images search page: allows users to search for images on the internet.
Advanced search page: allows users to customize their search preferences, such as language, region, and search filters.
How to Use
Clone the repository to your local machine.
Open the index.html file in your web browser.
Enter your search terms in the search bar on the home page and press the "Enter" key or click the "Google Search" button.
Browse through the search results and click on any link to visit the website or view the image or video.
To search for images, click on the "Images" link in the top navigation bar to navigate to the image search page, enter your search terms and press the "Enter" key or click the "Google Search" button.
To customize your search preferences, click on the "Advanced Search" link in the top navigation bar to navigate to the advanced search page, and adjust the settings as desired.
To return to the home page at any time, click on the "Google" logo in the top left corner of the page.
Credits
The website was created by Suei as a project for CS50 Web Development course offered by Harvard University. The design and functionality are based on the Google search engine. The website is for educational purposes only and is not affiliated with Google Inc.
