Are you sure, this is original and unchanged template/css?
Here is the same combination and everything looks fine to me: http://djangosuit.com/admin/examples/kitchensink/2/
Also i noticed in your preview even collapsed fiedlset have some css issues.
What OS/browser versions are you using?

+1, this happens when you used stacked inlines with fieldsets. It also looks odd since there isn't a container which differentiates related fieldsets (multiple fieldsets per stack/instance).

This would be a really nice feature to use to model any complex data set.. any at all, basically :)
