hi. the body of the HTTP response is in response.body, so if your API is returning an array you'll want to be using response.body.length. Also, you're returning in your loop, so you wont get further than the first iteration.

if you move the return from inside the loop, and add return chakram.wait() outside the loop, I think that'll work.

Some example code:

var chakram = require('chakram'),
      expect = chakram.expect;

  describe("how to access response body", function(){
      it("should do something for each entry in the response", function(){
          return chakram.get('http://www.mocky.io/v2/5b656e493300006b00f6a9e3')
              .then(function(response){
                  return response.body;
              })
              .then(function(values) {
                  values.map(function(value) {
                      var resp = chakram.get('http://example.com/'+value)
                      expect(resp).to.have.status(404);
                  });
                  return chakram.wait();
              });
      });
  });
