I'm also on a 14 inch monitor and don't have that problem. I suspect the problem stems from a small screen resolution - what's the resolution you're using? Regardless, I'll try to fix it

Resolution on the (secondary) 14'' monitor:

1024 X 768 (4:3)

btw: (see my + recent email for details):

mynewplot <- ggMarginalGadget(myplot) WORKS FINE now!.

But.... the other alternative method (using the Rstudio "addin"),
ie: highlight the:
myplot <- ggplot(mtcars, aes(wt, mpg)) + geom_point()

gives this message:

ggExtra:::ggMarginalGadgetAddin ()
Error: 'x' should be a list of {range, text} pairs.
